Coach Ryan started playing volleyball in 1977 on a co-ed high school team. Since then it’s been an obsession. His playing accomplishments are extensive having been a USAV Open All-American 4 times and winning a gold medal representing the USA in the Pacific Ocean Games in 1995 on the USA Select Team.

As a coach he has USA Volleyball’s CAP 2 certification and is a USA Volleyball IMPACT trainer. Additionally he coaches the Boys team at Glastonbury High School and guided the team to a state championship in 2002.
